We started BuzzVerdict to cut through that, to test the clippers people actually buy in the UK and tell you plainly which one suits which user, and where each one falls short.

We believe a good review tells you who a product isn't for as clearly as who it is. A professional fade clipper is the wrong buy for someone who just wants a quick monthly buzz; a budget set is the wrong tool for someone learning detailed fades. Most of our advice comes down to matching the clipper to the person, and we would rather say that plainly than sell you the most expensive thing on the page.

What we cover, and what we don't

We focus narrowly on hair clippers because that is where we can be genuinely useful. That focus is deliberate.
